Design Ontap, a "one-of-a-kind" company based in the south of England, open a new office in Barrow-In-Furness.

Design Ontap, Reading, Berkshire: Design Ontap announced today the launching of their new office in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria. This comes after 6 months worth of careful research and planning in the North's design and web development market.

Majority shareholder and Managing Director, Glen Richardson (24), opted for Barrow for several reasons. One reason in particular is close to his heart: "I grew up in Barrow" says Richardson "I studied at Parkview School and Furness College and spent my teenage years in foster care in the area. I believe Barrow has genuine potential to regain the status it held when Vickers were launching submarines on a regular basis. When I visited Barrow to source office space I was thrilled to see regeneration in the town and surrounding area."

The final decision was swung by the clear demand for Design Ontap's services in both ends of the country. Q2 2006 saw a staggering revenue increase in excess of 500% compared to Q2 2005.

Design Ontap's client base consists of design and marketing agencies needing outsource work as their internal resources run low. TLC Marketing (Plc) recently chose to outsource an enterprise scale project to Design Ontap over their in-house design and development team as "it would take years to achieve internally". Design Ontap rose to the challenge and completed the project within deadline, and in less than 4 months.

Design Ontap's business plan for the next 5 years promises several more offices around the UK, with a view to launching a Design Ontap in every major town and city in the across the country. Barrow is the first of many.
